ISBN (International Standard Book Number) is a unique identifier assigned to every book. ISBNs provide idenfication for your book, track book sales, and provide information about your title. Each different format of a book requires its own ISBN. For example, if you publish in paperback, hardcover and ePUB, you need 3 different ISBNs.

If you purchase one of our 3 packages (Basic, Advanced, Pro), we will help you to apply for ISBN and CIP.

Do I need separate e-ISBN for different eBook formats?

Yes, if you publish in PDF and ePUB, you will need different apply for 2 different e-ISBN.

Can I register the ISBN under my personal name?

Yes, you can. But we would recommend using a business / enterprise name as your publisher so that you have a more professional front.
