A story of how all of us can still be fruitful in times of adversity. With PATIENCE, PERSEVERANCE, POSITIVE thinking & PRAYERS, we can surely PREVAIL. This book is dedicated to all frontliners and all Malaysians. We did work together to flatten the curve.

This book was created during MCO (Movement Control Order), a preventive measure by the federal government of Malaysia in response to the COVID-19 pandemic on 18 March 2020, which stretched to EMCO (Enhanced Movement Control Order), CMCO (Conditional Movement Control Order) then RMCO (Recovery Movement Control Order). The content of the book was initially the author’s personal reflections of herself during the entire MCO period but decided to create a story book with activities for children to read and an opportunity for them to be an instant artist/illustrator instead.

Day 41 (27th April) – A day to remember
There was indeed a full rainbow over the sky. An assurance from above that everything will be alright. Everyone who saw the rainbow was taking snap shots of her beauty all over social media. 😃

Shireen Yoong is an educator.

Shireen believes that one is never too ‘young’ or too ‘old’ to learn, explore, create and innovate as time progresses. Having worked and engaged with both kids and adults, Shireen has trained, performed, taught in music schools, participated in recitals, concerts and events both locally and abroad.

Currently, Shireen works as a music tutor. She is attached to kindergartens conducting classes in music and movement, song composition for pre schools, percussion and dance choreography, writing story & music books for children, speech,  drama, music and art related programs.
