Dr Soo Beng Khoh is a trainer, coach, consultant and speaker passionate about innovation. He is an International Association of Innovation Professionals (IAOIP) Certified Professional Innovator, Innovation 360 Innovation Management Black-Belt and Six I's® of Innovation Certified Professional. Throughout his career, he has a broad spectrum of roles as an R&D engineer, advanced manufacturing technology and system engineer, executive digital dashboard designer,  Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) Consultant Black-belt, knowledge management champion, software & process architect, program manager, innovation champion, inventor mentor, manager, strategic change leader and triple-helix innovation ecosystem builder.

Dr Khoh has trained over 1,000 professionals and students as certified corporate trainer, ex-Motorola University trainer and adjunct professor at the University of Wollongong-Malaysia-KDU. During his tenure at MNC, he has been recognised as the Innovation Champion of the year 2013, Inventor Mentor, CTO innovation framework award and associate of the prestigious Motorola Science Advisory Board in 2009.

With more than 28 years of R&D and industry experience, Dr Khoh understands innovative and disruptive technology and can link them to business strategies for value creation. As co-founder of a boutique training and consultancy outfit, Dr Khoh helps working professionals and business owners to upskill themselves and leverage emerging technology to create value and new ways of working (WoW). As a consultant, he helps clients transform insights and opportunities into technology-enabled innovations and fulfilling unmet needs in the electronics, telecommunication, digital health and med-tech market verticals.

His technical interests include real-time embedded systems, automotive Controller Area Network (CAN), the Internet of Things(IoT), Industry 4.0, MedTech, digital health, analytics & digital dashboards, knowledge management, Lean, Six Sigma methodologies & tools (DFSS, DMAIC, Lean, VOC, KJ, Kano, QFD, CPM, DFMEAs, FMEA, FTA, TRIZ etc.),  new product design & development, intellectual property management & patents,  design thinking, technology-enabled innovations, entrepreneurial and start-ups.

Dr Khoh graduated with a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Warwick, UK, and is a member of IAOIP, the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), a corporate life member of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) and a senior member of The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). He is Malaysia's ISO 56000 Innovation Management mirror committee chairperson and member of the International ISO TC279 Committee, as well as a director of IAOIP. He is also the Vice President of the Association of Digital Health Malaysia, a non-profit organisation advocating accessible, available and affordable healthcare through technology and digital enablers. He has published more than 50 peer-reviewed papers in professional publications and research journals.
